James Wood (Irish politician)
James Wood (1865 – 31 October 1936) was an Irish Russellite Unionist politician and Member of parliament (MP) in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
He was elected as a Russellite Unionist MP for the East Down constituency at the 1902 by-election, following the resignation of the incumbent MP James Alexander Rentoul. He lost his seat at the 1906 general election.
He also stood unsuccessfully as a Liberal Party candidate for East Down at the January 1910 general election.
