James Hiroyuki Liao

James Hiroyuki Liao (born February 6, 1976) is an American actor known for his roles as Jay Lee on Unforgettable and Roland Glenn on Prison Break.

Biography

Liao was born on February 6, 1976 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. His father is Taiwanese and his mother is Japanese.[1] He graduated from Juilliard School's drama division in 2004 and studied at the Marjorie Ballentine Studio, where he befriended Amaury Nolasco.

Liao played Roland Glenn in season four of Prison Break, and starred in other television roles, such as 24, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Bones, CSI: Miami and Law & Order. His stage work includes playing Song Liling (Butterfly) in Washington DC's Arena Stage production of M. Butterfly.[2] He also starred with Jennifer Aniston in Management.[1] Liao and Nolasco starred in the fourth season of Prison Break.
