James Henretta

James A. Henretta (born 18 November 1940) is an American historian.[1][2] He is currently a Professor Emeritus of American History at the University of Maryland, College Park.[3] Henretta is a Fulbright Scholar, and has received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.[4]

He graduated from Swarthmore College and Harvard University.[5]
