James Haldane (footballer)
James Haldane (19 December 1890 – 27 August 1915) was a Scottish professional football inside right who played in the Scottish League for Lochgelly United.[4] He was killed in action during the First World War.[5]

Personal life
Soon after the outbreak of the First World War in August 1914, Haldane enlisted as a private in the Royal Scots.[4] He was killed in action in France on 27 August 1915 and buried in Cambrin Churchyard Extension.[3]
