James F. Rooney
James F. Rooney (born September 29, 1935) is a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.[1]

Biography
Rooney was born in Racine, Wisconsin.[2] He graduated from St. Catherine's High School and served in the United States Army. He was a business manager.[3]
Political career
Rooney was elected to the Assembly in 1972. Additionally, he was a member of the Racine County, Wisconsin Board, eventually serving as its Chairman. In 1998, he briefly returned to the Racine County Board and served one term alongside his son, James C. Rooney.[4] He is a Democrat.[5]
