James C. L. Wong

James Chang Ling Wong (1900–1970, 王長齡) In January 1965, Wong was elected the first Chinese Bishop of Taiwan, and was the first Bishop in the Anglican Communion to come out of the background of the voluntary priesthood, serving from 1965 until his death in 1970. He previously served as Bishop of Guangzhou, an assistant bishop of Victoria diocese from his 1960 consecration by Ronald Hall.[1]
