Jaleh Daie
Jaleh Daie is an American scientist, educator and entrepreneur. She has worked as a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at Rutgers University. Daie was the first woman to serve on the U.S. Space Foundation board of directors. She was inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame in 1996.
Biography
Jaleh Daie is partner at Aurora Equity, an investment company in Silicon Valley supporting technology startups. Concurrently she is Chairman/founder of AgFoodTech at the Band of Angels. She had served on numerous boards, is a frequent keynoter/speaker and has published extensively. She was the first woman on the U.S. Space Foundation board of directors, and was inducted in the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame in 1996.[1]
Daie has been head of her department at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, Rutgers University, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and has been an advocate for women and girls in science and technology.[2] Dr. Daie is Iranian American and a member of the Iranian American Women Foundation.[3]
