Jalan
Jalan (Urdu: جلن, lit. 'Jealousy') is a Pakistani television series premiered on ARY Digital on 17 June 2020. It is produced by Fahad Mustafa under Big Bang Entertainment. It stars Minal Khan, Emmad Irfani and Areeba Habib. The first teaser of the series premiered on 3 June 2020.[1][2][3][4]

Plot
Nisha and Misha are two sisters who belong to a middle class background, Nisha is a selfish girl and is used to snatch better things from her sister which Misha gives her happily. She likes her cousin Ahmer who loves her intensely and becomes engaged to him. Asfandyar's proposal comes for Misha who belongs to am elite background and his only relation is of his sister, Nisha becomes jealous of her sister and tries to point out flaws in him, but the two eventually get married. Nisha seeing her sister's expensive gifts and big house tries to break her engagement with Ahmer and behaves rudely with him, both of there families and Ahmer disagree and instead fix wedding. Nisha starts plotting and makes Ahmer look bad in front of her parents leading to breaking their engagement, she also tries to come closer to Asfandyar.

Production
In November 2019, it was announced that Minal Khan, Areeba Habib, and Emmad Irfani were collaborating on the project.[5][6] As Khan appeared as antagonist for the first time in her career, she commented that through playing character of Nisha, she hoped to "bring versatility to her work".[3]
Release
On 5 June 2020, Khan announced in an Instagram post that the serial would premiere on 17 June on ARY Digital.[7]
