Jack Helme (footballer)
James Albert "Jack" Helme (born 1897) was an English footballer who played in the Football League for Stoke.[1]

Career
Helme was born in Altrincham and played for his local team in the Cheshire County League.[1] He impressed enough with "Alty" to earn a move to Football League side Stoke for the 1920–21 season.[1] He played four matches for Stoke scoring once against Barnsley in a 3–2 victory on 2 May 1921.[1] At the end of the season he rejoined Altrincham.
