JLTIET UAV

JLTIET UAV is a Chinese experimental UAV developed by Jilin Teacher’s Institute of Engineering & Technology (JLTIET, 吉林工程师范学院). The main purpose of this experimental UAV is to gain experience in the design and the flight control system of forward-swept wing. The design team consisted of two instructors and a student of JLTIET and took two years for the maiden flight after work first started. The design of JLTIET UAV is similar to that of Sukhoi Su-47 in that it incorporates both the forward-swept wing and canards. The complete name of this UAV is Forward-Swept Wing with Canards (Configuration) Unmanned Proof of Concept Aircraft (Qian-Lue-Yi Ya-Yi Bu-Ju Wu-Ren Yan-Zheng-Ji, 前掠翼鸭翼布局无人验证机)[1]
