Professional career

In May 1998, Isidro won the WBO NABO Flyweight Championship by beating veteran Everardo Morales and ended up making 4 title defences.[2]

WBO Flyweight Championship

On December 18, 1999 Ayala won the WBO Flyweight Championship by upsetting Puerto Rico's José López over twelve rounds.[3] Lopez at the time was scheduled to fight Alejandro Montiel who withdrew hours before the fight. Ayala, a spectator on that night, agreed to fight in Montiel's stead and won, to much surprise, using borrowed equipment. He also defended his title successfully against Jose Rafael Sosa in Córdoba, Córdoba, Argentina.[4]

gollark: I too love not having stack traces everywhere and verbosity around every erroring thing?
gollark: `Result<T, E>` good, C error handling a relic of an age when computers were worse and programs were all bee.
gollark: So why did you mess up the code guessing thing horribly?
gollark: It has a depth of 2.7Gm.
gollark: Not with a bang, or a whimper, but an `inet_aton()`.
