Investment One Financial Services Limited [1] was incorporated in 2008 as GTB Asset Management, a wholly owned subsidiary of Guaranty Trust Bank Plc,[2][3] is licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) to provide several capital market services, including acting as trustees to bond issuance programmes and collective investment schemes. Following recent reforms in the banking industry initiated by the Central Bank of Nigeria, GTBank recently divested its ownership through a management buyout.The Company's name then changed to Investment One Financial Services.

INVESTMENT ONE Financial Services Limited is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Nigerian Stock Exchange NSE, and the Nigerian Pensions Commission PENCOM to provide Funds/Portfolio Management Services, Trust Services, Securities Brokerage, Pensions and Financial Advisory services to individual and corporate clients.
Subsidiaries
Investment One Stockbrokers Int’l Limited (IOSI) is a subsidiary of Investment One Financial Services and is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) and the Nigerian Stock Exchange(NSE). IOSI is a licensed Broker/Dealer, and Fixed Income Market Maker of the NSE. In addition, IOSI also offers tracking and retrieval of lost share certificates, market research as well as an online stock trading platform (EasyTrade) and SMS trading.
Investment One Financial Services Limited fully acquired the total stake in Royal Trust Pension Fund Administrator Limited (licensed by PENCOM in June 2007). The company was recapitalized and renamed GTB-AM PENSIONS LIMITED in 2012. Following the management buyout, GTB-AM Pensions was rebranded to reflect the new ownership. This subsidiary is what is now referred to as to what is now Investment One Pensions.
Investment One Capital Management
Investment One Capital Management is the investment banking arm of IOFS. It has two subdivisions: the Corporate and Structured Finance arm which undertakes equity and debt capital raising, M&A advisory, structured lending deals, project and infrastructure financing, etc. and the Real Estate arm which is involved in advisory, financing and sale of real estate in Nigeria.
Investment One Funds Management
Investment One Funds Management Limited (“IOFML”) is licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to manage Mutual Funds/Collective investment schemes. IOFML is an offshoot of a number of acquisitions. Firstly, that of Kakawa Asset Management Limited in 2013, KAML was a former subsidiary of Kakawa Discount House and was registered by SEC as a corporate investment adviser and fund manager, this acquisition brought Kakawa Guaranteed Income Fund into the portfolio of Investment One. Secondly, the acquisition of a balanced fund, the Nigerian International Growth Fund (NIGFUND) from Fidelity Bank in 2013 further strengthened the subsidiary. These funds have since been renamed and rebranded to reflect the group. IOFML has since then floated a number of funds; overall they manage a money market fund, a guaranteed income fund, a balanced fund, dollar fund and an equity income fund.
In 2015, Investment One Financial Services established a venture capital arm. This arm was created with the intention of providing finance to SMEs as well as big businesses who need capital to finance working expenses through a mix of equity, debt or equity and debt deals. This new division is what is today referred to as Investment One Vencap and has made investments in diverse sectors like agro processing, health and lifestyle, construction and technology.

Corporate Social Responsibility
Investment One advocates social responsibility along the lines of financial education, through research publications, economic commentary and also a Virtual Investment Simulator which is run twice a year to demystify investing in the Nigerian stock market.
Environmental Beautification: We embarked on an initiate in conjunction with Lagos Parks and Garden Agency(LASPARK) to beautify the bar beach median. The aim is to combat greenhouse effect whilst creating a healthier Lagos and also to beautify the surrounding.
