History

Formed in 1998 by singer/songwriters and producers Russ Tolman and Pat Thomas,[4] Innerstate Records was active from 1998 to 2006.[5] It spawned two offshoot labels innerSPACE,[6] which specialized in space rock, prog and krautrock and WEED,[7] which was a catch-all for eclectic releases. The labels released both new recordings and reissues.[8][9]
