Plot
The plot revolves around the uprising of an underworld gangster. Mohanlal plays the role of Kannan Nair. He finds his father Balan K. Nair's killer at last and has revenge. Rajan P. Dev's villain character Carlos is perhaps his best performance on the silver screen. Thampi introduced two new faces in this movie: A. T. Jose as the main villain, Commissioner David, who was actually an assistant commissioner of police in real life, and Vijayan Karote as another villain, home minister K.G. Menon, who was a writer, director and producer in many movies in real life.
