Ike Nienhuis
Ike Nienhuis also written as Ilktje Nienhuis (1921 - 28 January 2001) was a Dutch speed skater, specialized in kortebaanschaatsen.

Nienhuis was born in Makkinga. She became at three consecutive years Dutch national champion kortebaanschaatsen in 1946, 1947 and 1948; and also Frisian champion in the same years. In total she won 12 championships in twenty years she was active, between 1937 and 1957.[1][2]
In 1999 she was nominated to become “speed skater of the century” next to Martha Wieringa, Klasina Seinstra, Tonny de Jong and the winner of the title, Atje Keulen-Deelstra.[2]
Makkinga died in Assen on 28 January 2001.
