Ikaw Pa Lang ang Minahal

Ikaw Pa Lang ang Minahal (transl.You're the Only One I Have Loved) is a 1992 Filipino film directed by Carlos Siguion-Reyna and starring Maricel Soriano and Richard Gomez. The film is an adaptation of William Wyler's The Heiress, starring Olivia de Havilland.[1]

Synopsis

Adela (Maricel Soriano) is the sole heiress and recluse daughter of Dr. Maximo Sevilla (Eddie Gutierrez). Devoid of love from her father who only sees her as a disappointment, Adela keeps to herself and finds solace in crocheting until she meets the dashing David Javier (Richard Gomez) and falls for him. Their blossoming love is met with cruel objections from Dr. Maximo who suspects David is only after his daughter's fortune. Will Adela finally find the love she's been longing for from David or was her father right all along?[2]
