Iduvoi

Iduvai is a village near Tirupur in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Iduvai is about 48 kilometres (30 mi) from Coimbatore, 9 km (6 mi) from Tirupur and 12 km (7 mi) from Palladam. It is located on Tirupur - Palladam State Highway 19.

Employment

The main occupation is weaving and farming. The majority of the people earn a living by going to Tirupur to work. The main occupation weaving is on the decline in the village. As of November 2012, there are only a handful of weavers weaving in the traditional way. The growth of power looms has still kept the weaving tradition alive in the village. nowadays few garment factories and sizing mills are started
