There are currently three recognized species in this genus:[1]

  • Idiastion hageyi McCosker, 2008
  • Idiastion kyphos Eschmeyer, 1965
  • Idiastion pacificum Ishida & Amaoka, 1992 (Flame humpback scorpionfish)
