Ian Gilroy

Ian Gilroy is a New Zealand musician who played drums in bands such as The Plague, The Whizz Kids, The Crocodiles[1] (where he replaced Bruno Lawrence), The Swingers,[2][3] and Prime Movers.[4]

In 1975, as a 14 year old, Gilroy won the Premiere Drum Contest.[5]

Films

He appeared in the film Starstruck (1982) as one of the Swingers, who also provided songs for the soundtrack.
