ITU Computer Engineering

History

Computer engineering education at Istanbul Technical University started as a division of the "Control and Computer Engineering Department" in the Electrical and Electronics Faculty in 1980. The division was re-organized as a department of the same faculty in 1997.

gollark: Well, out of band remote management, SSH works fine still.
gollark: You'll lose stuff like remote management/IPMI, but it's very cost-effective.
gollark: You can get 10TB external hard drives (which you can pull 3.5" SATA hard drives from) for less than £200 these days, which is neat.
gollark: In my experience VPSes don't really offer reasonably priced high-capacity HDD storage.
