History

IP Systems was set up in 2008. In 2011 the company has started its international growth too.[1]

International participation

  • Gas Balancing-IP introduced in 2012 on the 4th Energy Trading Week was recommended for the use on regional level, furthermore in a unique way besides FGSZ Natural Gas Transmission Closed Company Limited, IP Systems was also invited by ENTSOG to the working group to help developing the European natural gas balancing model.[2]

Products

  • TSO-IP: supports the every day business practice for all actors in the gas market such as managing capacity allocation, shipping duty nomination, and matching, and accounting.
  • Trading-IP: designed for energy traders, the balancing groups' responsible members, business customers and partners. It supports contract and capacity management, nomination, allocation etc.
  • Storage-IP: supports the operation of gas storages. Its functionality mainly covers all business processes of storages’ operation, ensuring all legal and regulatory compliances.
  • Gas Balancing-IP: helps the operation of a flexible daily market and to assist to maintain trade balance. Supporting activities such as D-1 day, intra-day and daily capacity trading, trading with HEG and HEGO etc.
  • Booking-IP: helps the market participants to acquire the necessary amount of capacity via consequent auctions.
  • Energy Market Analyzer-IP: is a software for identifying and supporting business development opportunities in the energy branch.

Awards and appreciations

  • Gas Balancing-IP won the ’ICT project of the year’ award of the IVSZ ICT Association of Hungary and National Innovation Office in 2012.[3]
