Hyundai S engine
The Hyundai S engine is Hyundai's first V6 diesel engine. This engine has a displacement of 3.0l.

This engine makes 237 hp (177 kW) at 3,800 rpm and 333 lb⋅ft (451 N⋅m) of torque between 1,700 and 3,500 rpm. This engine is planned to make 20 mpg city, 30 mpg highway. This engine is supposed to pass the US Emissions Standards and was at one point considered as an offering for the Hyundai Veracruz.
The newer Euro6 compliant version of this engine makes 260 hp (194 kW) at 3,800 rpm and 57.1 kg⋅m (413 lb⋅ft; 560 N⋅m) of torque between 1,500 and 3,000 rpm.
