The wingspan is about 11 mm. The forewings are grey irrorated whitish with black costal, median, and dorsal marks near the base, and one on the costa. There is a semi-oval black spot on the middle of the costa and an irregular patch of black mottling extending on the dorsum, reaching about half across wing. Within this are two small pale yellowish tufts placed transversely in the disc beneath the median costal spot. There is a small blackish spot on the costa and a discal dot beneath this. Some suffused dark fuscous spots and mottling occupy the apical fourth. The hindwings are thinly scaled, greyish, with the veins and marginal edges suffused dark grey.[2]
