The Original TMX comes in two variants: The TMX 155 and the TMX 125. The TMX 155 is a 155.3 cc four-stroke, OHV, air-cooled engine intended for heavy duty tricycle use. It has a 4-down manual transmission and a primary kickstarter, as well as a magneto AC-CDI ignition. A telescopic fork front suspension and twin rear suspension cushion the bumps on the road. The TMX155 has also passed Euro 1 emission testing. The production of the original TMX was ended on 2014.[1]

Honda later launched the newer versions of TMX: TMX Alpha 125 and TMX Supremo 150.

Honda TMX Alpha 125

The TMX Alpha was launched in 2014 as essentially a rebadged Honda CG125 due to persistent demand as a result of proven record with OHV engines from the older TMX 155, the TMX alpha features a familiar 124.11 cc four stroke, air-cooled OHV engine mated to a five-speed transmission instead of four, and it is started by an electric starter and a kick starter with decompression function.

The instrument panel features an analog tachometer with gear indicator which is absent in the older TMX 155. A bar-mounted kill switch and passing light switch is added for safety, plus, new bar end weights were installed to lessen engine vibration. 18-inch tires give the TMX 125 Alpha a taller stance while also enabling it to conquer various road conditions.[2]

Honda TMX Supremo 150

Launched in 2012 as a direct successor of the popular TMX 155, the TMX Supremo was totally changed from its predecessor as it now features modern design to appeal newer generation of riders. The fuel tank was completely overhauled and is complemented by an elegant sticker design and a new Dual Flat seat. The side cover has been improved and made more durable with the application of Polypropylene plastic (PP) material with security lock. In addition, it is now equipped with 3-point factory installed side-car attachment.

The newly designed 150cc engine maintains its fuel efficiency up to 62km/L and is equipped with an electric starter with choke control located on the handle bar makes it easier for engine starting. It also has an illuminated meter panel that includes tachometer with gear shift indicator. Finally the motorcycle was equipped with Secured Key Shutter, an Integrated Handlebar Lock deter theft. [3]

This version of TMX has already undergone three generations since its introduction in 2012.[4]

gollark: It's not unnecessary, just mostly unnecessary.
gollark: Given that there are no floats or negative numbers, I feel as if anything above the second derivative is unnecessary.
gollark: ... no.
gollark: The program counter is incremented by the value of the metaprogramcounter each instruction!
gollark: I've decided to switch to having 32 registers, so there should be room for useful* features like the metaprogramcounter.
