Holy Cross School, Ballia

Holy Cross School (HCS) is a convent school in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations for high school and the Indian School Certificate for [[Middle school|intermediate school]]. It is also known as HCS and the students are called as Crossians. The current principal is Sister Mary John. It is one of the oldest and only catholic school in Ballia city.There are many other missionary schools like St. Mary's School in Rasra in Ballia district, yet people prefer HCS, supposedly because of its strict disciplinary environment, which the majority of the students don't like. It is considered to be the best school in Ballia city,as confirmed by the students (Abhishek,Alok,Prajit,Gyanesh,Vedvrat,Pankaj,Nikhil,Apurv,Yuvraj,Saumya,Sanjeev,Abhijeet,Akshita ).
