Hoary puffleg

The hoary puffleg (Haplophaedia lugens) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador.

Known to be territorial, its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.[2] It is labeled as near threatened due to habitat loss.[2] [3]
