Hinkal (town)
Hinkal is a Census town situated in Mysore district of Karnataka, India.[1] It is the most populous census town in Mysore district. The nearest railway station located is Mysore Junction railway station.
Demographics
According to the 2011 Indian Census, the town consists of 23,000 people. The town has a literacy rate of 82.60 percent which is higher than Karnataka's average of 75.36 percent.
