High Guardian Spice

High Guardian Spice[1] is an upcoming American animated web television series. The program is produced by Ellation Studios (later renamed to Crunchyroll Studios), and was originally slated to be online streaming site Crunchyroll's first original content.[2] The show was originally set for release in early 2019, but got delayed to 2020.[1][2][3] The show's announcement—and the implication that Crunchyroll was beginning to produce its own media rather than anime and other Asian content sparked controversy amongst some of the site's users.[4]

If such a sale happens, High Guardian Spice would be one of the first Crunchyroll Studios animated series to be distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
