Hexahydroxydiphenic acid

Hexahydroxydiphenic acid is a component of some ellagitannins,[1] such as casuarictin. Luteic acid is the lactone of hexahydroxydiphenic acid, and ellagic acid is the dilactone of hexahydroxydiphenic acid.
