Herkingen
Herkingen is a village in the Dutch province of South Holland. It is located on the south coast of the island Goeree-Overflakkee, in the municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee.

Herkingen was a separate municipality between 1817 and 1966, when it merged with Dirksland.[1] Last one has made part of the new municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee since 2013.
