Haysimo
Haysimo (Somali: Xaysimo, Arabic: حايسمو) is a newly appointed province in Somaliland. Before its formation in mid 2014, the Haysimo territory was part of the Sanaag and Sool regions.[2] The capital of the region is the historic town of Taleh. The region also consists of Sarmaanyo, Godaalo, Halin, Gaulo, Arroley and Shahda districts.

The region is mainly inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group, with the Dhulbahante and Kaskiiqabe subdivision of the Harti Darod especially well represented.
