Career
Ahmed was elected to parliament from Tangail-2 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate in 1973.[1]

You can't grow food fast enough for it to be useful in your "commune" in the middle of a city. You probably can't grow enough food *at all* in that area to feed the sort of population density cities typically have. You definitely can't really do it without much farming equipment and by just making a few tiny soil bits with plants in them.
