Hassendean, Scottish Borders

Hassendean is a small village in the Scottish Borders south of Edinburgh, Scotland. The stream is the Hassendean Burn which flows down to the River Teviot five miles away. The village's name has been written at Hazeldean and Halstaneden.[1]

Hassendean had a railway station from 1850 to 1969.[2]

The nearly hill is Minto hill with is just over 900 feet above sea level.[1] Places near to Hassendean include Denholm.
