Hanumanthanagar is a locality in Bannimantap[1][2][3][4], a suburb of Mysore coming on the Northern side of the city. It is part of Mysore district in Karnataka state of India[5][6][5][7][8].

The name comes from Sri Veeranjaneyaswamy Temple in the aea[9]
