Biography

Hamid Goudarzi started his educational career as a dental student in Tehran University but dropped out to study Acting in the University of Theatre Arts and graduated in his early 20s. He made his debut in a play called "Speransa Ship" and his first appearance in the cinema was with the movie "Sohrab".[2]

He started his professional acting in 1997 with the television series "Dani & Me" where he had to sing. He also began performing as a singer by joining an Iranian Band known as "Seven" along with Shahab Hosseini and with them published his first album 'Haft'.[3] But his real fame began when he performed in a TV series called "A traveller from India", where he had an antagonist's role. Later he appeared in cinema and TV successfully.[4]
