History
Hajipur Nagar Parisad is oldest organisation in Hajipur city to overlook municipal work. Founded in 1869 as per District Gazette of Muzaffarpur.
Current Structure
It covers the entire Hajipur city in Thirty Nine wards. Currently the Chairman (Mayor) is Kiran Devi.[2] The Deputy Chairman is Rama Nishad, She is wife of Muzaffarpur BJP MP Ajay Nishad. The Executive Officer is Siddarth Harshvardhan.
