HDMS Elephanten (1703)

HDMS Elephanten (Danish: "The Elephant") was a ship of the line of the Royal Dano-Norwegian Navy, which she served from 1703 to 1728[1][Note 1] until she was scuttled to create the artificial island Elefanten at Holmen, Copenhagen.[2] While in service she participated in the Battle of Køge Bay, where she served as Ulrik C. Gyldenløve's flagship.
