Guy, Count of Nevers

Guy,( - 1176), was count of Nevers and Auxerre.[1] He was the son of William III, Count of Nevers and Ida of Sponheim.[2] He married Matilda, granddaughter of Duke Hugh II of Burgundy,[1] just prior to his leaving for the holy land.[1]

Guy died in 1176 and was succeeded by his son, William, whilst his wife Mathilda would be regent of Nevers.[3]
