Gubaz Sanikidze

Gubaz Sanikidze (born 2 February 1967, Kutaisi) is a Georgian politician who was one of the leaders of the National Forum party.[1] He graduated from Tbilisi State University where he studied to be an orientalist (arabist).

Political career

His political career started in the Traditionalists Union in 1990. He was a member of Parliament of Georgia between 1990–1991 and 1999–2003. In 2006, he founded the political party the National Forum with Kakhaber Shartava and other veteran politicians. In 2016 he left National Forum and join Democratic Movement – United Georgia.
