Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare

The Groupe Scolaire Officiel de Butare (GSOB) Indatwa n’inkesha, also known as the Indatwa n'Inkesha School and originally the Groupe Scolaire d'Astrida, is a secondary school in Huye district, Butare, Rwanda. It was established in 1929 by the Brothers of Charity to educate Rwandans to assist the Belgian colonial administration. It is one of the oldest secondary schools in Rwanda.[1]

In 2004 President of Rwanda Paul Kagame visited the school to celebrate its 75th anniversary and thank the Brothers of Charity.[2] In 2012 the school celebrated its 83rd anniversary.[1]

Notable students

gollark: I already *did* all my phases, repeatedly.
gollark: Esobot executed 758 of my phases in the past 5 seconds, so I'm fine.
gollark: That's nice. Does it contain Macron?
gollark: Esobot is *so* optimal.
gollark: The PIERB are fine with it. I don't know *what* your "board"'s problem is.
