Its menu includes items such as spätzle, brägele (sauteed potatoes), Flammkuchen and bibiliskäs ("a light quark with fresh herbs, on wood-fire baked bread").

All of the wines on offer come from their vineyard on Tuniberg, a hill about a mile to the northeast.[3]

The restaurant is open seven days a week between May and August. Due to local law regarding external management in a wine-growing area, it can only be open for four months of the year.[4] Reservations are not accepted; it is first come, first served.[3]

Guests used to bring wooden wine boxes to sit on in the orchard, but again local law intervened, determining that the crates were seats, taking them beyond the capacity of the 40 permitted. Instead, customers dining in the orchard can sit on blankets.[4]

gollark: People will mess things up but designing unrepairable devices DOES NOT HELP.
gollark: Or, well, Apple-derived thing which spread?
gollark: I think the practice of having the screen glass and touchscreen digitizer/display bit literally be fused together is an Apple thing.
gollark: Convoluted methods to disassemble devices create extra risk and make it harder for regular people to repair.
gollark: I mean, phones having socketed CPUs would be weird. But they should at least have the easily-worn-down parts - screen glass, battery and USB-C port - on swappable boards.
