Grey's Anatomy (season 17)

The seventeenth season of the American television medical drama Grey's Anatomy was ordered on May 10, 2019, by American Broadcasting Company (ABC).[1] The season is set to air during the 2020–21 television season. The season will be produced by ABC Signature, in association with Shondaland Production Company and Entertainment One Television; the showrunners being Krista Vernoff and William Harper.

Production

On July 21, 2020, Grey's Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff announced in an interview that the season would address the COVID-19 pandemic.[2] On July 30, 2020, it was announced that Richard Flood and Anthony Hill had been promoted to series regulars.[3]
