Greenpeace Magazin is a German language environmentalist and political magazine based in Hamburg, Germany. It is not affiliated with the Greenpeace organization.[1]

History and profile

The magazine was started in 1996[2] with the name Greenpeace Nachrichten.[3] It is owned by Greenpeace Media GmbH and is headquartered in Hamburg.[3][4] The publisher is Greenpeace Umweltschutzverlag GmbH.[3] It is published on a bi-monthly basis.[1] It was formerly published quarterly.[3] The magazine is printed on 100% recycled paper.[5]

The magazine covers the topics of environment, politics and the economy.[1][5] It also features interviews with company executives and politicians.[6] The other topics covered include environment protection in everyday life, environmental innovations and alternatives.[5]
