Governor of Pernambuco
The Governor of the State of Pernambuco is the chief executive of the state of Pernambuco. The governor is the head of the executive branch of Pernambuco's state government. The officeholder is afforded the courtesy title of His/Her Excellency while in office. The current governor is Paulo Câmara from PSB. Câmara won the October 2014 gubernatorial election and was sworn in as the 57th governor of the state of Pernambuco on January 1, 2015.
