The length of the forewings is 6 mm. The forewing colour consists of pale brownish orange intermixed with brown scales. The discal cell has two spots, one near the base and one near the apical end. There is one small spot basad to the spot near the base of the cell and the marginal scales are brown. The hindwings are pale brown.

Etymology

The species name refers to the tooth-like apical area of the valva and is derived from Latin dentatus (meaning tooth).[2]

gollark: I should overhaul osmarksmalloc to support them!
gollark: Er, another advantage: you get alignment automatically sometimes due to truncation!
gollark: With these, we wouldn't even have needed to go to 64 bits, since 32 bits could do anything up to, er, lots\*!\* note: full precision not guaranteed
gollark: Pointers, but floating points.
gollark: Well, floating pointers™ would have greater dynamic range.
