Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves
The Clean Cooking Alliance is a non-profit organization operating with the support of the United Nations Foundation.[2] According to the World Health Organization, 4.3 million people a year die from health problems attributable to household air pollution from the use of polluting open fires and inefficient fuels for cooking.[3] The Alliance was announced in 2010 by then-U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.[4] Dymphna previously working as CEO for Clinton Climate Initiative organization.

They also provide grants for research and initiatives that support the aims of the Alliance,[5] advocate for international standards for stove manufacturers[6] and coordinate research and knowledge of the issues surrounding the use of clean cookstoves.[7]
Endorsements
A number of celebrities and musical artists have used their platforms to shed light on an issue that affects 3 billion people worldwide, including American actor Julia Roberts, world-renowned chef Jose Andres[8], Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana Samira Bawumia[9], celebrated Indian chef Sanjeev Kapoor[10], China's Zhao Wei,[11] and Ghana's Rocky Dawuni.[12]
