Gholam Sarwar Husseini
Gholam Sarwar Hosseini was a politician and religious leader from Bengal Presidency. He was a member of Bengal Legislative Assembly,[1] representing the radical or "extremist" wing of the Krishak Sramik Party.[2] He was elected as a lawmaker in 1937 but lost in 1946, being unseated by an All-India Muslim League candidate.[3][4]
Controversy
It was alleged that Hosseini played an important role in the 1946 Noakhali riots.[3][4]
