Ghalib ibn Fihr

Ghalib ibn Fihr (Arabic: غَالِب ٱبْن فِهْر, romanized: Ghalib ibn Fihr, fl.c.230–240 CE), is counted among the direct ancestors of Muhammad.[1]:3 In the lineage of Muhammad from Adnan, Fihr precedes Muhammad by twelve generations.[1]:3 He is the son of Malik bin An-Nadr who lived in Makkah.

Nizar, b. Ma'add, b. Adnan, b. Udd (or Udad),....b. Ya'rub, b. Yashjub, b. Qedar, b. Isma'il, b. Ibrahim, the friend of the Compassionate.
