Gerhard Weber
Gerhard Weber (born 11 June 1909 in Mylau, died 17 March 1986 in Berg) was a German architect and lecturer. Weber was a student of Mies van der Rohe and is associated with the Bauhaus school.[1][2] Between 1955 and 1974 he was a professor for architecture at the Technical University of Munich.[3][4][5] Considered one of the leading post-war architects in Germany, his architectural estate is today being maintained by the Bauhaus Archive.[6][7]
At the 1957 São Paulo Art Biennial Weber was awarded the prize as best theatre architect.[8]
