Ger Copper
Gerrit Copper (Assendelft, 21 July 1953 – Zaandam 6 August 2020[1]) was a Dutch magician.
Copper became three times Dutch national champion.[2] In 1977 and 1982 he became in Hollywood, Visiting Magician of the Year.[3] He won the 1979 World Championships with a candle performance.[4]
Along with his own shows he was involved as advisor at national and international theatre productions.
His family show Spetter en het magische avontuur, was at Dolfinarium Harderwijk.[5]
Copper was also a magician coach, and coached Hans Klok, Marcel Kalisvaart and Nick Nielsen.[6] In 2008 he founded his own magician school: the Dutch School of Magic (DSOM).[7]
